Managers are much more inclined to self-lead and deal with their own problems, particularly in a strategic way, not just a task-level approach.

When we had a restucture, the difference between the people who had done Turning Point and those who hadn't and the way they coped with change was stark. Those who had atttended the course had a more positive and accepting attitude to change and came out of it better and quicker.

One year later we surveyed staff and asked if Turning Point was still of benefit to them and 58 out of 60 said "yes". The content is drawn so widely from a range of sources and theorists that it's very cosmopolitan and doesn't clash with any other programme. In fact, it compliments it because it is relevant and easily applied to so many contexts.
