We have now completed all the scheduled Turning Point programmes for Te Runanga representatives and staff. I am very pleased to advise that the response from those fortunate enough to participate has been overwhelming in praise of every aspect - the content, the delivery, structure, and in particular the facilitation of the programme.
There were so many personality "types", ages, backgrounds and expertise within the groups it was certainly a challenge to you as facilitator. You managed to recognise those factors and meet everyone's needs in a sensitive and supportive way.
Turning Point was the first personal development programme to be made available to Ngai Tahu, following the settlement of the 150 year tribal claim against the Crown, so it was particularly important to us both organisationally and tribally. I can only say that the observable differences in people's attitudes and actions is exciting and rewarding. People are happier in the workplace, they treat one another with more respect, there is stronger camaraderie, and more lateral thinking.
